El Fondo Nacional de Garantías de Colombia cerró el primer trimestre del 2022 con $3,5 billones de créditos garantizados, beneficiando a 83.469 empresas del país. En ese sentido, Bogotá, Antioquia y el Valle del Cauca representan el 50%, 31% y 7% respectivamente de la movilización de garantías.
Al respecto, Raúl Buitrago, presidente del FNG, explicó que “el 2022 refleja el apoyo brindado a las MYPIMES, facilitándoles el acceso al crédito con nuestras garantías a través de diferentes líneas que encuentran en el portafolio de servicios de la entidad”.
Realizando un análisis por regiones, tenemos que Bogotá representa $1,1 billones en garantías, seguido de Antioquia, con $571.000 millones; Valle del Cauca, con $304.000 millones; Atlántico, con $234.000 millones; Santander, con $152.000 millones; y Cundinamarca, que abarca $127.000 millones.
Adicionalmente, los sectores de comercio al por mayor y menor, así como industrias manufactureras, construcción, y transporte y almacenamiento siguen siendo los de mayor participación en las movilizaciones, con 42%, 17%, 12% y 6% respectivamente. El 23% restante se encuentra distribuido en los demás sectores de la economía colombiana.
Buitrago además manifestó que “las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas pueden dirigirse a su intermediario financiero de confianza y preguntar por las garantías del FNG, las cuales le brindan un respaldo para consolidar su reactivación económica”.
Por otra parte, dio a conocer los pasos para acceder a una garantía:
- Acudir al intermediario financiero de confianza donde solicitará el crédito y preguntar por las líneas de garantía del FNG.
- Al firmar los documentos de solicitud del crédito también firmará la aceptación de la garantía.
- La entidad financiera solicitará al FNG reservar la garantía a través del portal transaccional.
- Una vez el intermediario financiero registre el desembolso, la garantía de forma automática queda en firme.
“Para acceder a las garantías del FNG no se debe pagar por supuestas inscripciones en formularios, ni para acelerar el estudio o desembolso del crédito. No se deje engañar, siempre verifique la información”, concluyó el funcionario.
