La economía hondureña comenzó con una dinámica diferente a la de 2021: Confianza reportó al primer trimestre de 2022 la colocación de 10,000 garantías.Autoridades de la Sociedad Administradora de Fondos de Garantías Recíprocas (Confianza-FGR), en el marco de la asamblea ordinaria, dieron a conocer ayer que la demanda de garantías creció en un 100% en los primeros tres meses de 2022.
Esto indica que la economía empieza a reactivarse de manera más acelerada. Eso representa 1,000 millones de lempiras en préstamos a micro, pequeños y medianos empresarios.
Los sectores que recibieron ese apoyo fueron comercios y servicios e industrias a nivel microempresarial, siendo servicio y comercio en donde mayor cantidad de demandas de créditos se presentaron desde enero a marzo, destacando la Semana Santa y el nuevo retorno a clases.
Déficit habitacional
Son mas de 6,000 créditos de vivienda social que fueron aprobados a las familias hondureñas que poseen por lo menos cuatro salarios mínimos.
Confianza-FGR cubre un 20% del riesgo, mejorando así los préstamos habitacionales, los que en su totalidad pueden ascender de L 10,000 a L 2,500 millones.
Francisco Fortín, gerente general de Confianza, manifestó que “el programa de garantías ha sido acompañado por los programas de bonos y subsidios que el Estado ha venido desarrollando”. Esto genera un factor importante porque permite que la banca privada atienda estos casos.
“El tema de la vivienda social ha sido un reto para todos los gobiernos, pero gracias a Confianza se ha generado esta gran coordinación”, detalló el ejecutivo. Al menos 2,400 millones de lempiras son los que se han invertido en viviendas, porque los precios de las casas oscilan entre 400,000 y 800,000 lempiras.
Agricultura
Los inversionistas perciben como riesgosa la productividad agrícola debido a los problemas de cambio climático, plagas o precios de las cosechas. Al ser uno de los principales sectores productivos, se piensa en ver la rentabilidad del mismo, pero requieren productos financieros adecuados a las capacidades de pago, es decir, tasas de interés bajas y plazos más largos según la capacidad de pago.
Demanda de crédito
Para este segundo trimestre se espera una economía más fluida, de acuerdo con los expertos en materia financiera. Asimismo, señalaron que las secuelas del covid-19 tienen que quedar atrás y se debe buscar la recuperación de la producción nacional para mejorar la oferta y la demanda.
“Amerita que se cambien un poco las políticas y se ajusten un poco los productos y los servicios; sin embargo, se debe revisar cuáles sectores o empresarios tienen una situación más difícil o precaria”, puntualizó Gilberto Gómez, gerente de Garantiza Colombia.
